Housed in Darcy Ribeiro's former summer residence, designed by Oscar Niemeyer on the seafront of Cordeirinho, the Casa Darcy Ribeiro Museum is a space dedicated to preserving, sharing and renewing the thought of one of Brazil's greatest intellectuals. It was in this house that Darcy completed much of O Povo Brasileiro, a work essential to understanding the formation of Brazil's national identity. The museum brings together its collection, immersive installations, audiovisual experiences and a cultural programme.
