Privacy Policy

Who is responsible for this website

This website is maintained by the Maricá Film Commission. For any personal-data matter — questions, corrections or deletion requests — write to contact@maricafilmcommission.com.

What we collect — and only when you submit it

Browsing the website requires no registration and collects no personal data. Collection happens only when you fill in one of the forms:

  • Supplier Registration: name, company, e-mail, phone and a description of the services offered.
  • Location Submission: name and contact of the person responsible, property address, description and uploaded photos.
  • Filming Authorization: applicant and production data (company, address, production title, dates, filming locations, structures used and estimated expenses).

How we use it

The data is used exclusively for the purpose of each form: evaluating and cataloguing suppliers and locations, contacting you, and processing filming authorization requests in the municipality of Maricá. Legal basis: pre-contractual procedures and contract performance, and the film commission’s legitimate interest in maintaining its catalogue (Brazilian LGPD, art. 7, V and IX).

Where the data is stored and who it is shared with

Submissions are stored in this website’s database (hosted in Brazil) and reach the Maricá Film Commission team by e-mail. We do not sell or rent personal data. Registered locations and suppliers may be presented to interested audiovisual productions — that is the purpose of the registration. Data may also be provided to authorities when required by law.

Cookies

The website uses only technical cookies, necessary for it to work — such as the one that stores your chosen language (Portuguese or English). We use no advertising or audience-tracking tools.

Your rights

Under art. 18 of the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law no. 13,709/2018), you may request access, correction, deletion or portability of your data, and withdraw consent, at any time, by writing to contact@maricafilmcommission.com. If you believe the processing violates the law, you may also file a complaint with the Brazilian Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
